Job Description
The Quality Engineer Manager will oversee and direct the Quality Management effort to ensure conformance to specifications for production material. This role involves maintaining relationships with customers, coordinating quality issues, and ensuring adherence to IATF 16949, alongside direct oversight of quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- Supervise and direct Plant Quality Managers
- Maintain customer relationships, scheduling of customer visits
- Implement IATF 16949 and other disciplines
- Inspect and perform studies on components
- Manage quality devices (gages, fixtures, tools)
- Investigate nonconformities and corrective actions
- Maintain documentation and records of the Quality department
- Manages the Quality department budget
