Job Description
DAP is seeking a Process Engineer to support raw material, compounding, production, and packaging functions within the Baltimore Plant. This role includes supporting continuous improvement projects, ensuring safety protocols, maintaining capital plans, and potentially managing environmental reporting. The engineer will also perform risk and compliance functions and support process safety and engineering functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering
- 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment
- 6 Sigma/Lean manufacturing experience
- Understanding of process control methods (flowmeters, P&IDs)
- Ability to read and interpret process drawings (P&ID's)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- PC usage with MS Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
