Job Description
Röhm is seeking a Process Engineer to support their production site in Bay City, Texas. The role involves providing technical assistance for process equipment, leading process improvements, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of the facility. Collaboration with other departments is key. This is a full-time position within the formalin and MAL manufacturing operations.
Requirements
- B.S. or more advanced degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in continuous processing
- Strong technical skills with collaborative work experience
- Thorough knowledge of reactors, distillation, clarifiers, boilers and thermal oxidizers
- Knowledge of operating processes and equipment
- Proficient with MS Office
- Familiarity with process simulation tools (SAP)
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing process documentation (P&IDs)
- Excellent communication skills
