Inpatient Audit Specialist

Datavant is a leading health data exchange platform company seeking an Inpatient Auditor Specialist to address coding quality, compliance, and payer reviews. This role involves auditing inpatient coding, reviewing non-CC/MCC records, and providing education to coding staff. Requirements

• Conduct inpatient coding audits on medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and appropriate references.
• Review non-CC/MCC records and assess coding.
• Provide coder education and prepare reports for review by facility or HIM director.
• Attend coding workshops and stay current with regulatory changes.
• Handle a high complexity of work and decision-making.
• Demonstrate exceptional work and team collaboration.
