Job Description
Denova is seeking a Billing Specialist to review outstanding accounts receivable, reprocess claims, and handle disputes. The role reports to the Account Receivable Supervisor and focuses on timely claim processing and efficient record keeping. It's a key part of the A/R team and requires effective communication and customer service.
Requirements
- Call designated payers to reprocess claims.
- Review insurance denials and submit corrected claims.
- Identify any underpaid claims and resubmit for proper adjudication.
- Follow up on claims that have not received a response.
- All other duties assigned by A/R Manager/Supervisor and leadership regarding claims scrubbing and review.
