We are recruiting for a motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team at Westside Family Care Center. The ideal candidate will have a certificate program in clinical medical assisting or an accredited program of licensed practical nursing with an active LPN license. The role involves assisting providers with back office duties, performing various medical tasks, and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Certificate Program Certificate from a clinical Medical Assistant school Required or Accredited program of Licensed Practical Nursing with an active LPN license Required
- Completion of a 160 hour Externship Required or 6 months direct patient care experience in an outpatient setting Required
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required
