The Total Rewards Intern will support the Total Rewards team in analyzing compensation and benefits programs, conducting market research, and assisting with the administration of rewards initiatives.
Requirements
- Compensation Analysis: Assist in the analysis of compensation data, including salary surveys, benchmarking studies, and internal equity assessments to ensure competitive pay practices.
- Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to compensation and benefits, and provide recommendations for program enhancements.
- Data Management: Help manage and analyze HR data, including employee compensation, benefits utilization, and turnover rates, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Employee Communication: Assist in developing communication materials to educate employees about compensation and benefits programs, including presentations, newsletters, and intranet content.
- HR Analytics: Participate in the development of HR analytics reports and dashboards that provide insights into the effectiveness of total rewards programs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits, such as FLSA, ACA, and ERISA.
- Project Support: Contribute to special projects and initiatives within the Total Rewards team, such as annual salary reviews, open enrollment, and employee engagement surveys.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR business partners, finance, and legal teams to support the implementation of total rewards programs.
