DigitalOcean is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to lead the Migration track within their forward engineering organization. The role focuses on designing and implementing automation platform components, establishing standards, and mentoring engineers to improve migration speed and reliability. It's a hands-on technical leadership position, ideal for an expert with a growth mindset.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, SRE, or DevOps roles
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform, CloudFormation
- Expert-level knowledge of CI/CD practices and tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Fluency in system programming languages (Go or Python)
- Strong experience designing and maintaining production monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
