Mécanicien /Mécanicienne de machinerie fixe

Domtar is a leading manufacturer of pulp, paper, packaging, tissue, and wood products. The Gatineau pulp and paper mill is historic and seeks a qualified candidate to fill a permanent full-time position as a fixed machinery mechanic.

Requirements

• Possess a DEC in mechanical engineering fixed machinery
• Possess a valid qualification certificate in fixed machine engineering - class MMF 1 - 2 or 4
• Ideally have work experience in an industrial setting
• Demonstrate a good learning ability
• Be dynamic, responsible, reliable, autonomous, and work safely
• Be able to work in a team and support colleagues
• Be prepared to work alternate shifts, day, night, and weekend shifts
• Be able to work 12-hour shifts in a hot environment
