Domtar is a leading manufacturer of pulp, paper, packaging, tissue and wood products. The company is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facilities, repairs and maintenance operations of the plant, as well as equipment and power plant. The successful candidate will manage a team of maintenance staff, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure all work is in accordance with safety standards.

Requirements

• College diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5 years of experience, including 2 years in a similar position
• Experience supervising personnel in a unionized environment
• Experience in planning and scheduling work
• Experience in the pulp and paper industry (asset)
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Rigor and managerial courage
• Good knowledge of English (asset)
