Job Description
DoorDash is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Data Mobility Frameworks team. The role involves technical leadership, leveraging AI for productivity, and fostering an engineering culture of excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience with scaling systems and big data processing, particularly with Apache Spark, Flink, Delta Lake, and AWS, and a strong understanding of cloud technologies and SQL.
Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years of industry experience
- 2+ years of experience at the staff level
- Prior experience in Systems Engineering
- Familiarity with Datalakes and table formats such as Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg
- Familiarity with a cloud based environment such as AWS
- Professional experience with at least one of the programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python or Go
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Location in Bay Area or Seattle
