Legal Counsel - Mexico

dss+ is a leading operations management consulting firm seeking a Legal Counsel to provide labor and employment advisory services, as well as general legal support across Latin America. The role involves acting as a strategic business partner to internal departments, offering legal advice and ensuring compliance with local and regional regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Licenciatura en Derecho)
• Active registration with the Mexican Bar Association (mandatory)
• 4–7 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in multinational companies or law firms with focus on labor and employment law
• Solid understanding of Mexican labor law, with additional exposure to corporate, compliance, and general commercial matters
• Experience providing legal advice to internal stakeholders and managing external counsel
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
