Job Description
EarthDaily is revolutionizing the way we understand and monitor our planet. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Project Accountant to join our crew in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The role involves project accounting support for several exciting space mission projects, and the candidate must have full-time availability during business hours. Occasional overtime may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA designation (or working towards) an asset
- 5+ years experience in project accounting and management reporting
- Experience with government grants and SR&ED is an asset
- Experience with ERPs (Netsuite preferred) / other project accounting software
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience working in project environment and understanding project management processes and language
- Experience with Government R&D projects and accounting rules
- Experience with month-end closings, journal entries, reconciliations and AR/AP
