Associate Director, Courts Communications & Special Projects

Earthjustice is a leading nonprofit environmental law organization dedicated to protecting the environment, people’s health, clean energy, and climate change. The Associate Director of Court Communications & Special Projects will lead the development of communications strategies for the Strategic Legal Advocacy team, focusing on cases headed to the U.S. Supreme Court. This role involves creating and implementing thought leadership content and contributing to the organization’s editorial functions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience, 2+ in a role developing strategy preferred
• Experience writing communications materials for legal-focused audiences or producing content in a law setting preferred
• Ability to analyze legal materials and create compelling communications
• Proven ability to translate complex issues into compelling, accessible communications
