Job Description
Earthjustice is seeking a Senior Attorney to join their Gulf Regional Office in Houston, Texas. This role focuses on litigation and advocacy before Texas's public utility commission and state courts, supporting a transition to clean, affordable energy. The position involves investigating cases, developing legal theories, securing expert testimony, and collaborating with other teams to achieve positive change and results.
Requirements
- Law school graduate or eligible for admission.
- 6+ years of litigation and legal advocacy experience.
- Background in energy law (strongly preferred).
- Ability to develop and manage cases, lead a litigation team, and collaborate.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to public interest work and passion for Earthjustice's mission.
