Senior Attorney, Clean Energy

Earthjustice is seeking a Senior Attorney to join their growing team in the clean energy field. The role involves litigation, advocacy, and strategy in support of equitable clean energy transitions, collaborating with clients and partners to advance a transition to affordable and reliable energy. Earthjustice partners with clients to protect biodiversity and fight climate change.

Requirements

• Law school graduate (or eligible for admission)
• 6+ years of litigation and legal advocacy experience
• Experience working independently and in coalition settings
• Experience in energy law is strongly preferred
• Must have a legal practice within the US jurisdiction or the willingness to apply for membership within 14 months of employment.
• Demonstrated awareness of the needs of diverse clients and partners
• Excellent research, analytic, writing, and communication skills
