Tool Room Supervisor

The Tool Room Supervisor will oversee all aspects of in-house tool and die manufacturing, maintenance, development, and testing activities to ensure production objectives are met, maximize productivity, and maintain the highest levels of workmanship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on tool, die making experience
• Previous experience leading projects or supervising teams
• Good computer skills to work with CAD/CAM technology, CNC machine tools, and computerized measuring techniques
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in high-volume production environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of stamping dies (progressive, blanking)
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repairs, and maintenance
• Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
• Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
• Strong project management skills
• Effective and verbal communications skills
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
