Job Description
The Intervention Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Special Education services and compliance in a school setting. This role involves providing support to students with disabilities, collaborating with teachers and the principal, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The specialist should proactively stay up-to-date on legal requirements and maintain accurate student records.
Requirements
- Current Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intensive Intervention Specialist Licensure in Ohio
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers/staff/community
- Demonstrated successful teaching experience in an urban education setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to meet established deadlines
