Job Description
The Associate General Counsel III will provide strategic guidance and advice on legal issues, handle complex legal projects, and make decisions with a legal and business lens. This role offers the opportunity to influence key decisions, shape outcomes, and serve as a trusted advisor across the organization.
Requirements
- Provide strategic legal guidance on privacy, data protection, and information governance matters
- Identify and assess potential liability to the firm, its affiliates, and its associates
- Review, assess, and resolve material legal issues for the firm and its affiliates
- Routinely make decisions that have material impact on the firm and its affiliates
- Communicate advice, recommendations, and findings effectively with attorneys, professionals, associates, and leaders
- Foster an inclusive environment and encourage diversity of thought
- Represent the firm and its affiliates by working directly with opposing or outside counsel and state and federal regulators
