Cloud Migration Engineer

As an Effectual Cloud Migration Engineer, you will be an important member of a migration team assisting clients who are migrating from on-premises infrastructure or VMC to AWS cloud native services. You will work with a technical leader to implement, manage, and migrate workloads to AWS cloud environments, while maintaining optimal migration strategies for diverse application portfolios.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist
• 4-7 years of experience developing AWS cloud infrastructure
• 2+ years Hands-on experience with AWS migration services such as AWS Migration Hub (MGN), Database Migration Service (DMS), and AWS Cloud Migration Services
• Solid experience planning and executing cloud migration projects, preferably on the AWS platform, including Mobilize (wave planning) and Migrate phases of an AWS Migration
• Proficient in developing Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g.: Terraform / AWS CloudFormation)
• Work with multiple clients, in parallel
• Experience with AWS including core services and infrastructure components
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
