Sr Cloud Migration Engineer

As an Effectual Cloud Migration Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing cloud migration projects on the AWS platform. You will leverage your expertise in AWS migration tools and methodologies to ensure successful and efficient migrations for our clients.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT implementation experience
• 7+ years of experience developing AWS cloud infrastructure
• 2+ years Hands-on experience with AWS migration services such as AWS Migration Hub (MGN), Database Migration Service (DMS), and AWS Cloud Migration Services.
• Solid experience planning and executing cloud migration projects, preferably on the AWS platform, including Mobilize (wave planning) and Migrate phases of an AWS Migration.
• Proficient in developing Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g.: Terraform / AWS CloudFormation)
• Work with multiple clients, in parallel
• Experience with AWS including core services and infrastructure components
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
