We are looking for a Specialist- Purchase and Logistics professional to work in a fast-paced environment, processing Supplier follow-up, shipment Tracking and logistics-related functions. The candidate should have a good working knowledge in supplier outbound and customer inbound US logistics in handling construction-related items.
Requirements
- Conduct daily follow-ups to track order and shipment status
- Maintain regular follow-ups with suppliers to obtain accurate shipment tracking updates and AWB details
- Foster strong internal collaboration and efficiently manage daily operations with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Streamline Shipping & receiving processes by eliminating non value added activities & focus on cost saving
- Maintain an up-to-date vendor database with current supplier contact information and establish a clear backup plan for the supplier shipping and delivery team
- Handle shipment requisitions effectively & maintain a clear track of changes in relation to product specification with the supplier on a day-to-day basis
- Manages and maintains Logistics - Purchased reports for specified division(s)
- Liaison with the accounting department to reconcile orders & Vendor invoices, and Final payment for the purchase orders
- Review and manage shipment delivery on time with follow-up and tracking
- Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies and escalate on time
- Handle discrepancies & issues related to swap/replacements/EOL Items
- Should have sound knowledge of handling & creating quotes, BOL, claims for suppliers & handling decommits in shipping & deliveries
- Communicate professionally and courteously with suppliers in relation to shipment delivery processing as required to resolve issues and receive orders in time
