Job Description
Element Biosciences is seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer to shape manufacturing processes for their product-driven, science-focused organization. This role involves hands-on technical support, investigative problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration, both within the NPI teams and with supplier partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flow cell manufacturing and a dedication to innovation. The position is on-site in San Diego and reports to an Associate Director.
Requirements
- Provide daily hands-on technical support to MFG.
- Lead cross-functional investigations and data-driven problem solving.
- Design and execute experiments (DOE, process characterization, and stability studies).
- Lead development, optimization, and transfer of flow cell manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with supplier partners.
- Define in-process quality control strategies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
