Job Description
The Machine Shop Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machine shop equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, and grinders, to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair preferred
- 3+ years of experience in machine maintenance or mechanical repair in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine alignment
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
