The Hydraulics Frame Maintenance Mechanic supports the inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair of hydraulic frames and related components. This role is ideal for a developing hydraulics or mechanical technician with 1–3 years of experience who is gaining proficiency in regulated maintenance environments.
Requirements
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic/rudimentary repairs on hydraulic frames, testing equipment, and associated systems
- Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize machine downtime and support continuous production
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on testing and facilities equipment to resolve maintenance issues and restore functionality, escalating complex issues as required
- Maintain accurate, timely, and auditable records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks, in accordance with Nadcap requirements
- Conduct machinery repairs to maintain operational efficiency and equipment readiness
- Support other facility maintenance and repair activities as needed
- Manage and monitor spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components for timely repairs
- Adhere to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and documentation practices
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available
