We are seeking a patient-centric, self-starter, medical assistant to support our multi-specialty surgeons and ensure quality, seamless care to our patients. You will cultivate relationships with our surgeons, patients, care team and Community partners and promote a culture of excellence.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a medical assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Multi-specialty experience working with and supporting surgeons preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Experience with pre and post op patient education, (preferred)
- Experience with obtaining prior authorizations, (preferred)
- Familiarity with appropriate CPT and diagnosis codes, (preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
