Job Description
The SDS-PACU RN at ECHC, a new state-of-the-art ASC, provides patient-focused care from infancy to geriatrics. This role involves pre-operative and post-operative assessments and treatment of patients undergoing surgery, ensuring patient safety and facilitating communication between patients, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team. Elko Community Health Center is a subsidiary of Community Health Development Partners focused on improving access to healthcare in rural areas.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Nevada
- Nursing diploma, associate's or undergraduate degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum of two years of ICU or Emergency nursing experience preferred
- Two years experience in a SDS/PACU environment preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Patient-focused, team-oriented attitude and passion for surgical nursing
- Ability to remain calm in crisis situations
- Flexible and adaptable to change
