Quality Control Supervisor

Ellwood Crankshaft Group (ECG) is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to report to the Quality Director at Ellwood Crankshaft & Machine in Hermitage, PA. The position requires a minimum of 5 years dimensional inspection and non-destructive testing experience, and a thorough understanding of quality and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years dimensional inspection and non-destructive testing experience
• Thorough understanding of quality and manufacturing processes
• Prior Quality Control experience in dimensional inspection and Non-Destructive Testing and Quality Assurance
• Ability to use and accurately read measuring instruments
• Working knowledge of ISO Quality system
• Working knowledge of Marine Agency Certification process
• Strong math skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GDT
• Working knowledge of machine tools and processes
• Ability to layout and inspect parts
• Ability to lead root cause and corrective action investigations and implementation
• Ability to lead equipment calibrations
• Ability to work well with a team while also working independently
• Ability to interact with customers and outside parties
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills
• US Passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required
