Quality Control Supervisor reporting to the Quality Director at Ellwood Crankshaft & Machine in Hermitage, PA. Responsible for technical and supervisory leadership of ECM Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing Department, executing quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years dimensional inspection and non-destructive testing experience
- Thorough understanding of quality and manufacturing processes
- Prior Quality Control experience in dimensional inspection and Non-Destructive Testing and Quality Assurance
- Thorough understanding of tools, gauging and fixturing
- Ability to use and accurately read measuring instruments
- Working knowledge of ISO Quality system
- Working knowledge of Marine Agency Certification process
- Strong math skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GDT
- Working knowledge of machine tools and processes
- Ability to layout and inspect parts
- Ability to lead root cause and corrective action investigations and implementation
- Ability to lead equipment calibrations
- Ability to work well with a team while also working independently
- Ability to interact with customers and outside parties
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills
- US Passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required
