Job Description
We are looking for an Energy Trader to execute trading strategies across multiple energy markets, manage market risks, and capitalize on trading opportunities. The role requires a good commercial mindset, technical expertise, and close collaboration with internal teams and external market participants.
Requirements
- BSc in Engineering or Mathematics
- At least 2 years experience in the modelling of energy sector and 1 year in technical analysis
- Knowledge of energy market simulation software (Plexos, EPSI) and R/Python programming strongly preferred
- Good understanding of energy markets
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in technical analysis and commodity trading
- Novelty seeking mind-set
- Self-driven and motivated
- Experience in technical analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and functions
