Job Description
We are seeking a Short-term Power Market Strategy Analyst to provide support for short-term power market optimization and long-term energy forecasting initiatives, monitoring competitive activities, and assisting in the formulation of short-term power market strategies.
Requirements
- BSc in Engineering or Applied Economics or Mathematics or a related field
- 1-3 years of previous working experience in wholesale energy markets (DAM, Balancing) as a plus
- In-depth working knowledge of Statistical analysis and Machine learning
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, R, or VBA
- Knowledge of Power BI would be considered an advantage
- Energy Trader Certificate - Electricity (ETCE), Derivatives (ETCD), or Gas (ETCG) will be considered an asset
- MS Office (preferably excel), Modelling skills
