Network Engineer

Emerson is seeking a Network Engineer to define, design, and implement network communications and solutions. The engineer will work in collaboration with professional services and may be assigned to a cloud database or hosted network. They must be proactive and effective communicators.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in network administration and infrastructure management
• Strong knowledge of firewall technologies and network protocols
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and fix tools
• Experience with network hardware components and datacentres
• Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance requirements
• Structured and meticulous approach to documentation and organisational change
• Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written)
