Job Description
Emerus is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLT/POC to provide technical assistance and support to individual patients throughout assigned areas. The role involves collecting and analyzing laboratory specimens, performing quality control and troubleshooting, and collaborating with clinical departments. This PRN position is available at a 20-bed small-format hospital (ER, INP) in New Freedom, PA.
Requirements
- Perform tasks, duties and/or complex tests in all areas of the laboratory.
- Collect and process specimens using protocols and technical knowledge.
- Perform quality control, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting.
- Follow established safety practices.
- Assist with patient care and other activities within state license and regulations.
