EnerSys is a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications. The Electrical Engineer role requires technical leadership in designing, developing, and testing battery systems for defense applications.

Requirements

• Design and develop all electrical systems and products used in manufacturing of batteries and related parts.
• Supports effort to prepare Contract drawings and Contract specifications.
• Create models and prototypes of products.
• Research solutions and estimating costs and timescales.
• Interface with others on design team, mechanical engineering for power and packaging.
• Provide technical guidance and support to production personnel.
• Develop test plan for product quality and acceptance.
• Record, analyze and interpret test data, including modification and retesting products.
• Qualify final product or system.
• Prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations.
