Solar Performance Engineer Advisor

As a Solar Performance Engineer Advisor, you will provide data analytics support for solar renewables assets across the USA, improving and optimizing performance through advanced analytics and data visualization. You will develop tools and processes to elevate fleet performance, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and translate data into actionable improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline, or related field
• Minimum seven (7) years of professional experience in solar performance engineering, energy modeling, or operations analytics for utility-scale assets
• Experience with data visualization tools and platforms such as Power BI, Grafana, Databricks, etc.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, etc.
• Basic understanding of electrical equipment and calculations
• Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement appropriate solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, with a high degree of accuracy
• Collaborative mindset with demonstrated experience coordinating external engineers, OEMs, and cross-functional internal teams
• Clear technical communication skills and the ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences
• Ability to travel to asset facilities
