Job Description
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist role provides support, mentorship, and hope to individuals navigating substance use, mental health, or co-occurring challenges. The role complements clinical services by offering recovery-oriented, person-centered support grounded in mutual respect and shared experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential
- Personal lived experience with recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges
- Minimum 1 year of sustained recovery (strongly preferred)
- Background check and completion of all required onboarding
