Job Description
Credit Education Consultants, Inc. is a client-focused financial wellness company dedicated to helping individuals and families understand, repair, and rebuild their credit profiles. The Credit Repair Specialist provides expert support to clients working to repair and rebuild their credit profiles.
Requirements
- Review client credit reports from all three major bureaus (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax)
- Identify inaccurate, outdated, unverifiable, or fraudulent information for dispute
- Prepare and submit credit disputes via appropriate channels (mail, online, fax)
- Track dispute cycles, responses, deletions, and follow-up requirements
- Communicate regularly with clients to update them on progress and offer actionable advice
- Deliver financial education related to budgeting, credit utilization, debt management, and savings
- Maintain accurate notes, documentation, and client progress in CRM software
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FCRA, FDCPA, CROA) and internal policies
- Maintain confidentiality of all client financial data and sensitive documentation
- Collaborate with internal team members to resolve escalated or complex cases
