Geomorphologist

Environmental Science Associates (ESA) is seeking a Geomorphologist with 8+ years of experience to join their Northwest Environmental Hydrology and Design (EHD) Team. The successful candidate will provide geologic and geomorphic expertise to inform or lead the development of multifaceted restoration design projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., geomorphology, river engineering, earth science) or a related interdisciplinary field
• Master's degree (plus)
• 8+ years of experience in geomorphic assessment and design of river, estuary, and coastal restoration projects
• Licensure as a Geologist in Washington and/or Oregon, or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lead project teams and collaborate with internal team members and clients
• Experience with project management principles and practices, and ability to deliver assignments within budget and on schedule
