The Vice President, Corporate Development Leader is responsible for identifying, sourcing, structuring and leading the execution of M&A deals, joint ventures and other strategic investments. The role is highly visible with direct interactions with the CEO, CFO and Business Unit Presidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance)
- 10+ years of deep M&A experience gained in a comparable corporate development environment, investment banking or private equity firm
- Demonstrated success leading due diligence in a fast-paced corporate development environment
- Prior negotiation and deal structuring experience
- Proven track record of building strong pipelines
- Principal mindset and takes total deal ownership
- Strategic thinker who can partner with Market Leaders to identify various opportunities for inorganic growth
- Relationship builder with the ability to establish a dialogue with leadership team members of potential acquisition targets
- Experience successfully navigating matrix and global environments
- Senior executive presence with strong influencing, relationship management and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills
- Exemplary verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-starter and team player with ability to achieve or exceed his/her objectives while working in concert with other senior leaders
