Job Description
Escape Velocity is seeking a UI Engineer with a strong foundation in Unreal Engine to develop interactive and performant UI features for an upcoming unannounced project. This role requires collaboration with designers, artists, and other teams, with a focus on building scalable systems and contributing to shared development practices. The position is fully remote and ideal for a systems-minded individual who enjoys problem-solving and improving the player experience.
Requirements
- Professional experience in the game industry (ideally shipped or in-production)
- Working knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5
- Solid proficiency in C++ and UI workflows
- Familiarity with Unreal's Model-View-View-Model (MVVM) framework
- Interest in UI systems and gameplay
