Job Description
Escape Velocity is seeking a UI Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of a new, unannounced project. The role requires collaboration with Design, Animation, and Audio teams, focusing on developing and implementing UI features, and utilizing Unreal Engine. Candidates should enjoy building interactive systems, problem-solving, and improving player experience.
Requirements
- Build interactive, performant UI systems using Blueprints, C++, and MVVM
- Collaborate with design, art, audio, and backend teams
- Contribute to modular UI systems and debug runtime issues
- Solid proficiency in C++ and UI workflows
- Experience with Unreal’s Model-View-View-Model (MVVM) framework is highly desirable
- Professional experience in the game industry (ideally on a shipped or in-production title)
- Familiarity with Unreal’s Model-View-View-Model (MVVM) framework is highly desirable
- Interest in UI systems and gameplay
- Solid communication skills
- Strong interest in games and delivering polished UI experiences
