Job Description
Etched is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical Engineer to own the electrical manufacturing side of their AI chips, ensuring seamless product introductions from prototyping to high-volume ramp. The role focuses on bringing designs to scale, driving manufacturability and yield, and managing supply chain risks. They are building AI chips that surpass existing architectures with smaller footprint, lower latency and enhanced security.
Requirements
- Lead new product introductions (NPI) and sustaining engineering activities
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews to ensure robust production
- Partner with Component Engineering, Supply Chain, and Hardware teams
- Own BOM structuring and risk management
- Perform board bring-up and debug
- Review and influence Process FMEA and Design FMEA
- Work directly with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and ODMs
- Develop, release, and maintain product documentation
- Provide leadership in complex issue resolution
