Senior Manager, Technical Support Unit (EAII Advisors)

The Senior Manager, TSU (Team Lead) will provide overall leadership to the Technical Support Unit (TSU) in Odisha, working in collaboration with the Department of Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water (PR&DW), Odisha Rural Water Supply & Sanitation (RWSS), and EAII partners in the state. The role requires managing the TSU team while serving as the primary liaison between EAII Advisors, Odisha PR&DW, RWSS, and other key state government stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in managerial roles in government advisory/engagement
• At least 5 years in large-scale program management/project management
• Proven experience working with Odisha state government departments
• Proven experience in leading a team and stakeholder management
• Expert verbal proficiency in Oriya (spoken)
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work environment
• Strong capability in managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, while staying true to objectives
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence government officials and other stakeholders effectively
• Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement plans aligned with organizational and state government goals
• Strong project management skills using project management tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make evidence-based recommendations
• Ability to navigate complex challenges and provide practical solutions in a dynamic environment
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working with various stakeholders with a knack for rapid program growth
• Willingness to travel within Odisha up to 30% of the time
