Job Description
We are seeking an Assembly Process Engineer to support the successful implementation of optical assemblies and ongoing production of optical assemblies using process engineering skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Physics, Optics, etc.)
- 7+ years experience in optics-related field desirable
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or other CAD software desirable
- Experience with adhesive selection and troubleshooting desirable
- Proficiency with optical modeling software such as Zemax, Code V, FRED desirable
- Experience with optical alignment and bonding desirable
- Experience with automation programming (PC and/or PLC) desirable
- Experience with structured problem-solving tools (8D, DMAIC, etc)
- Proficiency with Statistical Process Control
