Job Description
EXP is seeking a skilled Project Architect to join their Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, and Semiconductor Science & Technology Buildings team in Chicago, IL. The role involves leading and coordinating technical development, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing presentation materials. The company is driven by innovation and seeks to deliver sustainable results while fostering a diverse and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects
- Ability to coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients
- Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer
- Extensive experience in manufacturing or life science facilities
- Familiar with Food and Drug Administration guidelines for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and Pharmacopeia best practices
- Extensive experience with building codes, including International Building Code, NFPA, Life Safety Codes
- Extensive experience with chemical analysis, classification and inventory
- Extensive experience with equipment planning, ergonomics, and safety
- Extensive experience in laboratory building environment
