Senior Staff Engineer

Experian is a global data and technology company that is looking for a Senior Staff Engineer to help develop new initiatives and products to serve the needs of Experian's clients, including those in the financial services. The team is solving key questions in the lending space, such as bias, fairness, and explainable AI. The role requires a strong technical expertise in end-to-end development cycle and the ability to dive deep into complex problems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with object-oriented programming and asynchronous programming
• High-level knowledge of data engineering, analytics, and ML, with the ability to dive deep when necessary
• Experience building or supporting internal data engineering, analytics and MLOps platforms
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks like Spark
• Experience with any of the public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, preferably AWS, including infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm)
• Strong hands-on experience with Scala, Java & Python
