Principal Marine Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Marine Engineer to lead pre-concept/concept surface & sub-surface vessel design, complex engineering design & analysis tasks, and the creation of new & innovative tools & processes. The successful candidate will have a breadth of engineering skills in Marine Engineering and experience in leading engineering analyses, technical studies and research & development projects.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in a relevant STEM discipline (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Marine Technology, Naval Engineering)
• Professional member of a relevant engineering institution (e.g., RINA, IMarEST, IMechE, IET)
• Recognised as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer by the UK Engineering Council (or actively working towards achieving accredited status)
