Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Marine Systems Engineer to expand our Marine Design/Naval Architecture capability. The successful candidate will have a breadth of engineering skills, experience with 3D modeling and 2D drafting, and a passion for working in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant STEM discipline (e.g., Naval Architecture, Ship Science, Marine Technology, Marine Engineering)
- Professional member of a relevant engineering institution (e.g., RINA, IMarEST, IMechE, IET)
- Recognised as an Incorporated or Chartered Engineer by the UK Engineering Council (or an ability to achieve within 12 months)
- 4+ years post-graduate experience in the commercial or naval maritime domain
- Experience with Naval Architecture design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MaxSurf, NAPA, Aveva, Paramarine, Orcaflex, MatLab, MS Excel)
- Experience working in multi-company and engineering discipline teams
