Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and prevention of disorders that affect function or adaptive behavior in a long-term care setting.
Requirements
- An Occupational Therapist in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory board and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists
- Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy required
- Knowledge of computer applications preferred
- Excellent organizational skills required; minimum of two years of geriatric clinical experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills with Resident/families and staff required
- Ability to work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team required
- Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS)
