Job Description
This Optical Technician/Optician position focuses on delivering a top-quality patient experience and supporting the medical needs of patients through dispensing and fitting glasses and contacts. The role requires expertise in eyewear prescription, frame selection, and excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Dispense and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Educate patients about frame styles, lens options, and prescription needs.
- Collect and measure patient needs for accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Perform basic preventative care.
- Must be able to work in a clinical setting.
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and correct to work in the US.
